Organisation hubs

An organisation hub is a free, branded home on the European Skills Lab for the EU projects of one university, company or other organisation — and for all their open educational resources.

A hub has its own address (www.skills-lab.eu/hub/your-organisation), the organisation's logo and colours, and a selection of the projects it coordinates or takes part in. Visitors browse, search and download those resources without leaving the hub, while every project and resource stays part of ESL: nothing is copied, and a project can appear in several hubs.

What a hub offers

• Its own address, logo and brand colours, in light and dark mode
• The projects the organisation chooses, with all their public resources — including those of the other project partners
• A search that covers only the hub's projects
• A page of partner organisations, and public summary numbers
• Detailed statistics for the hub's managers: visits, resources used, countries and referring websites

How it works

1. A user with the Project Management Area switched on requests a hub for their organisation under My ESL.
2. The ESL team reviews the request, and may ask for changes.
3. Once it is approved, the requester manages a draft hub: they choose the projects, add the branding and preview the result.
4. They publish the hub when it is ready. Later changes stay a draft until they are published too.

Good to know

• A hub can only show projects the organisation coordinates or takes part in, and only projects that are published on ESL.
• Managing a hub does not give anyone the right to edit a project; each project stays with the people who manage it.
• An organisation has one hub, which can have several managers. If your organisation already has a hub, you can ask its managers for access.
• The names of a hub's managers are never shown publicly.
