Title

ESG Managers for the development and ESG transformation of Rural SMEs

Description

ESG4SMEs proposes the development of the ESG Manager for rural SMEs job profile to help rural SMEs transition to a sustainable economy. The job profile will be based on a needs analysis and key competencies framework, leading to the development of a specialized curriculum. The project aims to support professional development for rural SMEs, contribute to skills development for VET learners, and establish the certification process of the ESGM for rural SMEs, ultimately recognized at an EU level. The ESG4SMEs project aims to produce the following results, described in specific WPs: WP2 will focus on the development of the ESG Manager profile and curriculum, while WP3 will design the VET training course and pilot it. WP4 will focus on the development of simulation games to enhance competencies and skills, and WP5 on the creation of a Policy Handbook to promote ESG practices and advocate for the ESGM profile at the EU level.
